The many layers of transparent acrylic paint add depth and motion to this painting. The grasses and flower stamps evoke a feeling of nature reaching out to you.
The Wetlands clean the waters as they pass through the grasses on their way to the rivers. Real grasses were used to portraythis image and recycle nature. The grasses add a relief type demention to this painting.more……less
The cliff at Bon Echo in the Canadian Shield was crreated by a glacier. In this painting red pine bark prevalent to the area was used to create the cliff. The many shapes of the bark reminded me of the pcitographs which had been painted by natives along the bottom of the cliff.more……less
This painting in acrylic & oil paints was inspired by water reflections and colour. Colour is very exciting to me and I love juxtaposing different colours to see the effect they have on each other.
