García y Más with "Lion Tamers" (1985, Oil/Canvas, 200 x 250 cm) in the Permanent Exhibition of the German Historical Museum (DHM) in Berlin. Here, the artist ironically reflects the inner German politics of the Seventies.

Although global policy plays a very important part, García y Más is not a political painter in any narrow sense, his paintings focus on the problematic social issues of the day, on environments, on cultural & literary themes: the point is made by means of alienation, irony and wit, often in a macabre or sardonic manner.
