This painting has won first place award and Viewers choice award in art show in Canada and also was selected by the City of Ottawa's Jury to be printed on the City of Ottawa's calendar/brochures of 2005. Number of printed brochures was 15,000. The linen was treated professionally one month prior to painting and one year after the work was done. Oil painting on pure 100% linen, size 41cm x 51cm and was done with only one color which is blue with all its tones, capturing many shapes and forms of snow and ice with their shadows when the sun touches them elegantly. This painting has many fine layers of original pigments I mix them myself.
