1948 Born April Fool’s Day, Chicago, Illinois, third generation Japanese-American
1960-64 Trained at The Art Institute of Chicago School from twelve years old
1965 Won college scholarship, National Scholastics Art Competition
1969 Received B.F.A., Summa Cum Laude, Illinois Wesleyan University
1969 Relocated to London.
1977-78 Attended life classes at Heatherley’s School of Art and Byam Shaw School of Art.
1980-81 Participated in painting seminars in N. Ireland
1985-92 Mural artist, Palladio Interiors
1986-95 Acquired studio at ACME, exhibiting in East London Open Studios
1988 Art instructor at Queen’s College, London
1995 Relocated to Miami, Florida
2001-02 Opened Vera & Yamamoto Fine Art Gallery, Miami Beach, Florida
2001-03 Art and art history instructor at The Winston Academy, Davie, Florida
