The experiment Quid Pro Quo is based on the Surrealist game, The Exquisite Corpse: a game designed on the idea of chance, in which multiple artists explore interpretations of sponateous imagery in a kind of collaborative imagination. Quid Pro Quo functions as a contemporary version of this game, in which an idea is interpreted and re-constructed, then passed on to the next player.
