The Mandjar Art Awards is the most prominent arts event within the Mandurah region attracting art lovers from all over the state. With over 200 artworks exhibited each year and with half of those being submitted by artists from the Peel Region,
the Mandjar Awards has proven to be a showcase for West Australian artists, providing them with the opportunity to view the highest standard of artworks created in our state. The Mandjar Art Awards is an annual event and was established in 2005 to elevate arts and cultural development with the Peel region and for the education and enjoyment of all those who visit and live in the community.
Open to the public with free entry the official opening and presentation of the 2013 Mandjar Art Award winners will be at the Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre at 7pm Saturday, 23 March 2013.
