According to Chinese legend, two lovers were separated by class prejudices, the man died broken hearted, the girl insisted to pay homage to his tomb on the day of her marriage since her bridal carriage pass his tomb on her way , while she was buring incence , the tomb suddenly split and exploded, she jumped into the tomb, after some time, butterflies come out of it, among them were the lovers transformed into butterflies. Here the female butterfly was shown , who knows which butterfly came out first, the male or the female, just leave it to your imagination.
